Ep. 03: Bryant Ferate

Bryant Ferate is the Associate Director of Sports Performance at University of Portland. Not only is he an incredible coach and leader at UP, but he’s also a skilled communicator; Ferate hosts his own podcast The Bryant Ferate Podcast, where he has hosted dozens of discussions with a wide variety of guests over the past few years.

As a longtime guest at Cathedral, Ferate has become a major part of our day-to-day community, and it was an honor to share this conversation in long-form. In this episode, we cover everything from what makes a great conversation, how to redefine consistency in our habits, how to deepen our relationships with others, the importance of knowing yourself and understanding your worth, healthy authenticity and how to identify your deepest desires, and more! We also do a deep dive on Ferate’s marathon experiences over the past couple of years and break down some of his lessons learned.

“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. It just depends on how you look at it.” - Mary Poppins
